Hope your break has been relaxing. It is the last day of 2013 and time to start thinking about our next unit (7). I have not done any school work up until today but that will change from here on out. I have made our new schedule for the 3rd nine weeks look for it in the student/parent tab. I am expecting that all you watch or read ALL the unit 7 material before you return. We will have one week of questions and formatives and then the exam. At this moment the cell communication webcast is not yet complete and uploaded but I expect that to change in the next few days. Also for those of you who read this would you please post of facebook, tweet, text or call all your friends so that the word might spread, thanks

OK, here are the details on the data analysis science process assessment. Google math is fun or go to my links tab and click that link. On the home page of math is fun, click "Data". Scroll down to "What is data?" (in brownish orange color) and click the first and second blue links. After clicking each of these read the material and answer all the questions. Now scroll down to the title "How to Show Data" in this set you are responsible for the following blue links: bar graphs, pie charts, line graphs, scatter plots, histograms and cumulative tables and graphs. Once again click each, read the material and answer the questions. Now scroll down one more time and find "Comparing Data" repeat the process for the second, third and fourth blue links. Any of this material is fair game for your assessment in class. If you feel comfortable with the material you do not have to do all the problems however be careful because the problems in each set get harder as you go and I will be asking the harder type problems on our assessment. Those of you who do all the problems will have an advantage of familiarity because I will use the same graphs etc from this site and write my own similar questions to them.

Hey guys, Sorry... the link to exam seven expectations was screwed up but it is now fixed. Also the links to the modeling process assessment are now posted. Go to the MYP tab, go to labs, go unit seven you will need to print all three of the links, follow directions you should be fine. The other process skill..."data analysis" is not ready yet I will post the link and directions as soon as I find a few minutes. In the meantime the website is called math is fun, then click "data". You will have to wait for the specifics but basically start at the top and work your way down.

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
